Starter, Grower, and Layer. Made of insoluble crushed quartzite or
granite, grit is necessary for the healthy development of the gizzard,
which aids in digestion and allows for maximum nutrient benefits
from poultry feed. Grower grit is recommended for layer chickens and
ducks from 8 weeks to 20 weeks.
