Tagetes tenuifolia

This miniature Marigold stole my heart this season!  This mix contains a variety of small lemon yellow, orange, and deep red flowers that cover these lacy leafed sweet smelling marigold plants. They grow 12-18” tall with a long bloom time of late July to first frost.  They are adorable.  Prefers full sun.  

Marigold growing  instructions

Direct Sow seed in the garden after your last frost when soils have warmed to about 50-55 degrees.  They need light to germinate so press into the soil, keep it moist.  Seeds germinate after 5-7 days.  Space each plant 8-10” apart.  

Sow indoors to transplant 3 weeks before last frost date then transplant out when soils have warmed to 50-55 degrees.  They grow well from transplants and germinate quickly.
