Founded in Chicago, Archway Pet Food was born after founder Gabe Huertas del Pino noticed the same problem again and again while fostering dogs: many struggled with common proteins like chicken and beef. When he adopted Doris, a pup with food sensitivities of her own, he set out to create something better. Archway makes allergen-friendly, nutrient-rich pet food and treats using innovative, lower-impact proteins such as invasive silver carp and crickets. With a focus on sustainability, transparent ingredients and pet health, Archway is rethinking what pet nutrition can look like—creating food that’s better for sensitive pets and gentler on the planet.
