The Open Air Hay Feeder is a rabbit hay feeder designed around the way rabbits naturally eat. Most traditional hay racks were built for convenience—not for rabbits. Bars, narrow openings, and elevated designs can force rabbits into awkward postures just to reach their hay.

We designed the Open Air Hay Feeder after struggling to find a hay feeder we’d trust for our own rabbits. Like everything we make, it started as something we wanted in our own home.

Want a new look later? The interchangeable faceplates can be swapped in seconds, so you can refresh your feeder without replacing the entire unit. Collect seasonal colors, match your bunny’s space, or simply change things up whenever you like.

The Open Air Hay Feeder is designed to sit securely inside standard rabbit litter boxes rather than clipping permanently into place—making it a natural fit for free-roam homes, exercise pens, and popular systems like the ROOLY litter box.

If you use a ROOLY litter box, our optional ROOLY Stability Clip Set helps keep the feeder even more secure while still allowing the flexible grate to do exactly what it was designed to do.
